Days of Action
Our First Day of Action took place on February 2nd 2026.
This was a Mass Email Event where not just our membership but also any reader of our Facebook pages were invited to send an email to their MP to arrive in their Inbox on the same day.

This email requested MPs to take action on the continuing delay regarding a decision on any change to the sales commission. The actions requested were

1. Write to the Secretary of State demanding that the government publish its decision on the 10% commission without further delay

.2. Confirm whether you support changing the 10% commission, given the overwhelming evidence of the harm it causes.

3. Raise this issue in Parliament at the earliest opportunity, either through a written question, an oral question, or by supporting a debate.

Our 2nd Day of Action took place on Februry 10th 2026
This date represents one year on since the Housing Minister stated he was seeking more evidence on the rationale of the sales commission.
One year later he has done nothing.

PHOJC, on this day, issued a press release informing the media that the Government had received the Univerities report 3 and a half years ago and nothing had changed since.

I was pointed out to the media that in those 42 months an estimated £192 million has been taken from pensioners' equity because of the dithering of Housing Ministers.

3rd Day of Action

On February 14th our e-petition was launched.

This petitions the Government to make a decision on the future of the Sales Commission by the end of 2026
